the newest member of the Beckner family -- Lilly Ann June Beckner. My baby sister was finally born on Monday, Oct. 2 at 4:50 p.m. She weighed 9 pounds on the dot and measured 21 inches tall. Grandpa Bott says she already has one up on me because she was born bigger, longer and has one more name than me!
I was fascinated with the "baby" in the beginning, but quickly lost interest when I noticed that the grandparents were too concerned with Lilly and not enough with me. Grandpa and Grandma Bott took care of me for the week while Daddy and Mommy were in the hospital. Mommy came home Wednesday night, but we can't get Lilly until Thursday morning. She has to stay overnight so she can have some more medicine in the morning. Her white blood cell count was high when she was born (like me) so she had to have antibotics. She's doing well though and will be home with us tomorrow. Mommy says it's going to be busy and different at our house. We'll try to keep everyone updated on Lilly's developments as much as we can as we welcome the newest member to our family.

i can't tell you how wonderful it was to see you this weekend belle.
i had the best time playing with you, hanging out on the kitchen floor, watching the muppets, talking about the ducks, kitties and dogs.
oh, and the wonderful walk we went on with grandpa bott where you enjoyed learning how gravity works, lol.
it was so much fun, and boy did you keep me on my toes. : )
i didn't know you were so quick on your feet now. lol.
and i was so proud of you when you met your new little sister, you welcomed her wonderfully with a beautiful face of excitement and wonder.
and when you gave her a kiss on her forehead i melted.
it made me wonder if that was what it was like when your mommy first saw me. : )
you are going to be such a wonderful big sister to little lilly ann june.
and i know she will annoy you from time to time, lol, but always remember she is your sister and the only one you will ever have so no matter what she'll be your best friend for life, just like your mommy has been to me.
it was great seeing you this weekend and i can't wait until i can see you again you little monkey.

Wow, you guys make BEAUTIFUL baby girls!!! Congratulations!
Belle, we are so happy that you have such a beautiful little sister! We are sure that you will be a wonderful big sister. Jaymeson is so excited to see you and Lilly. He loved seeing your pictures and can't believe how much you've grown. We will coming to WV soon to see you and Lilly. Tell your Mommy to take good care of herself and for her and Daddy to let us know if there is anything at all we can do to help out. Everyone is so proud of you for being such a big girl. We miss you and are anxious to see your whole family.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US LILLY ANN JUNE BECKNER!!!! :-) You were born on my birthday!!!! I told your mommy it would happen that way! Belle- Don't worry my dear.. you will still be loved and everyone will still pay attention to you! You're too cute to just forget about! HEHE! Just think of how much fun you and your baby sister are gonna have! Lilly is beautiful! (or is it Lilly Ann we're supposed to call you? guess we'll find out.. love you all Beckner family!!! You are such a BIG SISTER. Wow. Lilly is so cute. You will have fun helping MOMMY and DADDY with her. It was neat that Lilly was born on Cousin Katy's 20th birthday. Katy was excited. We are just so happy that the LORD has blessed you and your family. His GOODNESS is just indescribable.
Can't wait to see ALL of you. We will be praying for a "smooth" transition into having two little girls.
